Obituary for Barbara L. Pendergrass (Wentsel)
Barbara L. Pendergrass, age 73, of Arnold, MO, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at St. Anthony's Hospital in St. Louis. She was born May 23, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI, the daughter of the late David and Luella (Vaksvik) Wentsel. She married Olan Pendergrass. He precede her in death.
She is survived by three children: Todd (Lois) Simms of Arnold, MO, Greg Simms of Dupo, IL and Renee Simms of Anaheim, CA; three grandchildren: Tonielle Masterson, Donald L. Simms and Kacee L. Simms; one step-grandchild, Cody Higdon; and three sisters: Sue Olson, Karen Juntenen and Jill Eliason. Besides her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a sister, Marie Stark.
Her cremated remains will be interred at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery in St. Louis at a later date.
